Temperature and Humidity
Violets like a temperature between 20°C and 25°C. Try to prevent temperature going below 15°C or above 28°C, because these extremes will be detrimental to you Violet. Extra humidity will be of benefit when the temperature is high. The recommended humidity is 60 percent and, in most homes, it’s well below that, particularly if you have refrigerated air-conditioning in the summer or heaters in the winter. Violets may be stood on trays of gravel, which is kept moist, or placed on saucers of water under the leaves, which will raise the humidity. Never stand the pot in water.
