Propragation
One of the greatest aspects of the African Violet is the ease with which it may be propagated. There are three methods: leaf cuttings, divisions, and seeds. Leaf cuttings are the most frequently used and will nearly always produce an exact replica of the mother plant.
On very rare occasions, you may get a sport or mutant, and in some cases a variety that if not very stable may produce slightly different colouring in the blooms or texture of the leaves, but generally you can expect a duplicate of the original plant.
